Controlling information about you

Once you have consented for us to process your CV a duplicate copy of your CV will be created on our system which contains no contact information in our standard format.  This copy is the version that is sent to a Client only after a discussion about the role and your consent to apply has been agreed.

We will always ask for you consent before passing on your contact details to a third party.  We would define a third party as a client requesting an interview.  The only times we will pass on your contact details is when an interview is being scheduled and an offer of employment is being made which you have verbally accepted.  This allows the client to send out a formal offer letter.

  • an interview – we would pass on your mobile number if required
  • an offer – we would pass on your postal address, email address and mobile number

We will never lease, distribute or sell your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or the law requires us to do so.

All of our jobs are advertised across multiple platforms and you may have submitted your CV through one of these third parties

  • Retail Choice / Total Jobs
  • Drapers
  • Reed
  • Fashion United
  • LinkedIn
  • U&I Website
  • Social Media Channels

We also have access to CV databases on Retail Choice and Drapers so if you have uploaded your CV to one of these sites we may approach you to consent to u&i recruitment adding your data to our database in regards to a relevant position.  In this scenario we adhere to Terms and Conditions agreed with Retail Choice and Drapers.
